Commission
TL;DR — Commission is the actual amount a publisher earns when a sale, lead, or action they referred is confirmed. It’s calculated using the commission rate set by the advertiser for that offer. On Involve Asia, commission moves through Pending, Pending Advertiser Collection, and Paid stages before it becomes part of a publisher’s withdrawable balance.
What Is Commission?
Commission is the reward a publisher receives for driving a result an advertiser cares about — usually a sale, but sometimes a lead or another defined action. It’s the actual earning, as opposed to the commission rate, which is the formula used to calculate it.
For example, if a product sells for RM100 and the commission rate is 10%, the commission earned on that sale is RM10. For lead or action-based offers, commission is often a fixed amount per qualifying lead or action instead.
Commission isn’t usually final the moment a sale happens. Advertisers typically need time to confirm the order wasn’t cancelled or returned before the commission is locked in.
Commission on Involve Asia
On Involve Asia, the commission starts in a Pending state right after a tracked conversion happens. It then moves to Pending Advertiser Collection while the advertiser confirms the sale, and finally to Paid once confirmed.
Only confirmed commission counts toward a publisher’s withdrawable balance, which is checked against the minimum withdrawal amount for their chosen payment method before a payout can be requested.
