Involve Glossary

Loyalty Publisher

TL;DRA loyalty publisher runs a rewards, cashback, or points program, and shares part of their affiliate commission back with their members. Shoppers get a reason to buy through the publisher, and the publisher earns a margin on the commission they pass through. On Involve Asia, loyalty publishers — including cashback apps — connect via the API to access offers and tracking links across 500+ brands.

What Is a Loyalty Publisher?

A loyalty publisher operates a platform — often a cashback site or app, or a points-based rewards program — where members earn something back for shopping through the publisher’s links.

When a member completes a purchase through the loyalty publisher’s link, the publisher earns the affiliate commission as usual. Part of that commission is then passed back to the member, as cashback, points, or another reward, while the publisher keeps the remaining margin.

This model works because it gives shoppers a direct incentive: buying through the loyalty publisher costs nothing extra, but gives them something back. For advertisers, loyalty publishers can drive high volumes of repeat, price-conscious shoppers.
