Account Suspension

TL;DRAccount suspension is when a publisher’s access to the affiliate platform is temporarily or permanently restricted due to a violation of the platform’s rules or an advertiser’s offer terms. It can mean losing access to tracking links, pending commissions, and the ability to apply for new offers. On Involve Asia, suspension can result from affiliate fraud, violating promotion methods, or repeated breaches of an offer’s T&Cs — and in serious cases, accumulated commissions may be forfeited.

What Is Account Suspension?

Account suspension is a platform enforcement action that restricts a publisher’s ability to operate on the platform. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, suspension can be temporary — giving the publisher a window to correct the issue — or permanent, ending their access entirely.

Common reasons for account suspension across affiliate platforms include affiliate fraud, click fraud, cookie stuffing, using prohibited promotion methods, bidding on restricted keywords, misrepresenting a property during sign-up, or repeatedly violating individual offer T&Cs despite warnings.

Suspension is typically the consequence of serious or repeated violations. Minor breaches may first result in a warning, a rejected conversion, or being blocked from a specific offer, with suspension reserved for cases where the violation is severe or the publisher continues offending after being notified.

Account Suspension on Involve Asia

On Involve Asia, publishers who violate promotion methods, commit ad fraud, or breach the platform’s publisher agreement risk having their account suspended. In cases of confirmed fraud or serious violations, Involve Asia reserves the right to forfeit all accumulated commissions without prior notice.

Suspension can also be offer-specific — an advertiser may block a publisher from their offer without the publisher’s entire account being affected. In these cases, the block is at the advertiser’s discretion and will not be overruled unless the advertiser decides otherwise.

Publishers who believe a suspension was made in error can contact Involve Asia at [email protected] to raise the issue for review. The best protection against suspension is consistent compliance with each offer’s T&Cs and the platform’s publisher agreement from the start.
