Reporting Currency

TL;DRReporting currency is the currency a publisher selects in their account settings to display earnings and performance figures across their dashboard. It determines how commission amounts are shown in reports, which may differ from the original offer currency in which those commissions were earned. On Involve Asia, when a reporting currency differs from an offer’s currency, amounts are converted at the exchange rate on the date they are published — meaning displayed figures are estimates and may vary from the actual payout amount.

What Is Reporting Currency?

Reporting currency is the currency used to display figures across a publisher’s performance reports and dashboard. It’s a display preference — it affects how numbers look in the interface, not necessarily how the payment is processed or received.

Publishers who work across multiple markets often earn commissions in several different offer currencies. Rather than seeing earnings in each offer’s local currency, a publisher can set a single reporting currency to consolidate all figures into one familiar denomination — making it easier to read total performance at a glance.

Because reporting currency figures are converted from offer currencies using the prevailing exchange rate at the time of display, they are estimates. The actual payout amount may differ depending on the exchange rate at the time the payment is processed.

Reporting Currency on Involve Asia

On Involve Asia, publishers can change their dashboard’s reporting currency through the Language and Currency Settings in their account – choose between Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) or United States Dollars (USD). When a different currency is set, all amounts displayed in the Performance Report and Conversion Report are converted from their original offer currencies into the chosen reporting currency.

Involve Asia’s T&Cs note that amounts shown in the dashboard are estimates based on the exchange rate at the time of publishing, and should not be relied upon as the final, real-time figure. Actual payout amounts are calculated based on funds received from advertisers and the exchange rate at the time of payment, and any discrepancies between estimated and actual amounts are not borne by Involve Asia.
