Upsize Commission

TL;DR – An upsize commission is a temporary increase to a standard commission rate, activated by an advertiser for a defined campaign window. During an upsize, partners earn a higher commission per qualifying action than the offer’s normal rate — for as long as the upsize is active. Upsizes are one of the most direct ways to earn more from affiliate marketing without changing your content or audience.

What Is an Upsize?

An upsize — also called a commission upsize or upsize commission — is a time-limited boost to an advertiser’s standard commission rate. Instead of the regular payout, partners earn an elevated rate on every qualifying action they drive during the upsize window.

Upsizes are activated by advertisers for specific strategic reasons: to generate promotional momentum during a shopping event, to reward active publishers, to attract new partners to a program, or to compete during a high-spending period when multiple brands are vying for the same audience.

The upsize has a clear start date and end date. Once it expires, the commission rate returns to the advertiser’s base rate automatically. Partners who promote the offer during the active window earn at the higher rate. Partners who promote outside the window earn the standard rate.

How Does an Upsize Work?

The mechanics are straightforward:

  1. An advertiser activates an upsize on their offer — setting a higher commission rate and a specific start and end date.
  2. Involve Asia notifies publishers who are approved for that offer that an upsize is active, with the new rate, campaign dates, and any updated creative assets.
  3. Publishers promote the offer during the upsize window as they normally would — same affiliate links, same content channels.
  4. Every qualifying action (sale, lead, install, click) generated during the upsize window earns the higher rate.
  5. When the upsize window closes, the rate reverts to the standard commission automatically.
  6. Commissions earned during the upsize follow the same earning stages as all other commissions: Pending → Pending Advertiser Collection → Paid.

No special links or separate campaigns are required. If you are already approved for an offer and active during the upsize window, you earn the higher rate automatically.
