Affiliate Earnings
TL;DR – Affiliate earnings are the commissions a publisher receives for driving qualifying actions — sales, leads, installs, or clicks — through their affiliate links. Earnings accumulate in your Publisher dashboard as conversions are tracked, move through a validation process, and are paid out monthly once approved. How much you earn depends on your commission model, the offers you promote, your traffic quality, and how well your content converts.
What Are Affiliate Earnings?
Affiliate earnings are the money a publisher earns by promoting an advertiser’s product or service through a unique tracking link. Every time a user clicks that link and completes the qualifying action defined by the offer — a purchase, a sign-up, an app install, or a unique click — the publisher earns a commission.
Affiliate earnings are not a salary, a flat fee for effort, or a payment for content created. They are purely performance-based: you earn only when a result is delivered. No qualifying action, no commission.
This performance-based structure is what makes affiliate marketing accessible to anyone with an audience — and scalable for publishers who invest in growing their reach and improving their content. A blog post written once can continue generating earnings for months or years. A social media recommendation can drive a commission the same day it is posted.
How Affiliate Earnings Are Calculated
Earnings depend on the commission model of each offer promoted. On Involve Asia, five commission models determine how earnings are generated:
CPS (Cost Per Sale) Earnings = Commission Rate × Sale Value
You promote a fashion brand at 8% CPS. A reader buys RM 250 worth of products. Earnings: RM 250 × 8% = RM 20
CPL (Cost Per Lead) Earnings = Fixed Fee × Number of Validated Leads
You promote an insurance platform at RM 35 per lead. You generate 12 validated leads. Earnings: 12 × RM 35 = RM 420
CPI (Cost Per Install) Earnings = Fixed Fee × Number of Validated Installs
You promote a productivity app at RM 8 per install. You drive 90 validated installs. Earnings: 90 × RM 8 = RM 720
CPUC (Cost Per Unique Click) Earnings = Fixed Rate × Number of Unique Clicks
You promote a CPUC campaign at USD 0.06 per unique click. You drive 2,400 unique clicks. Earnings: 2,400 × USD 0.06 = USD 144
CPA (Cost Per Action) Earnings = Fixed Fee × Number of Validated Actions
You promote a food delivery app at RM 18 per first order. You drive 55 validated first orders. Earnings: 55 × RM 18 = RM 990
