Involve Glossary

Property

TL;DRA property is the website, app, social account, or channel a publisher uses to promote offers. It’s how an advertiser knows where their brand is being featured. On Involve Asia, publishers select a property when signing up and again when applying for individual offers.

What Is a Property?

In affiliate marketing, a property refers to any channel a publisher owns or operates — a blog, a website, a YouTube channel, an Instagram or TikTok account, an app, or an email list.

Properties matter because they’re the context in which an advertiser agrees to be promoted within. A fashion brand, for example, might be comfortable having its products featured on a style blog or Instagram account, but wants more caution around a general deals forum.

A publisher can have more than one property, and different offers may suit different properties — a coupon code might work well on a deals site, while a product review fits better on a blog or YouTube channel.

Properties on Involve Asia

When signing up on Involve Asia, publishers provide details about their promotional property as part of the registration process.

When applying for a specific offer, publishers choose which property they’ll use to promote it and agree to that offer’s T&Cs. This helps advertisers understand where their brand will appear, and is part of how each application is reviewed.
